Robert Chown, a Woodchurch Ancestry Group member, has been carrying out a series of transcriptions of Woodchurch vital records. Not just another indexing project - he has been transcribing the full texts from the originals. Teaming up with Gary Samson, another Group member, a website hosting this important Woodchurch resource has been created. The Baptism, Marriage and Burial records are searchable databases. There are also Trade Directories, an Absent Voters list and population statistics. Ken Bourne's Monumental Inscriptions data has now been put online too.
